Competitions are a vital part of the FBLA experience. Our goal is to help each one of you demonstrate your competency in important business knowledge and skills, ranging from common office knowledge to the more vocal and social aspect of business, and we encourage you to come to us with suggestions or questions about these competitions. We also strongly encourage you to support your fellow club members as much as possible.
There are three main levels of competition: Section, State, and National. Although each of these conferences will be discussed in more detail under their appropriate tabs, it is important to note that the number of competitors to advance from sectionals to state are typically higher than those who advance from state to nationals. In addition, each competitive event has its own basis for how many competitors are allowed to advance.
Each competitor is limited to two active events. These do not include pilot events or chapter events.
Be sure to check out our Competition Records page for a list of UHS FBLA award winners!

Important Information for Competitors
Reading the rules is very important! We cannot stress this enough. We highly encourage you to read the rules for your events word for word. While we will try our best to help you, it is ultimately your responsibility to be aware of the rules so that you can claim the rewards for your hard work.
